 ü Cover Page

The members expressed their views that the Cover page for all the students to be same so as to avoid any unnecessary designs which in no way benefit the students. Therefore, it was unanimously decided that one particular format for Cover Page is to be followed. The format is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE – I.

  ü Acknowledgement

The members observed that majority of students acknowledge the respective teachers/asst. Prof in their own language which is appreciable. But some group of students has the tendency to copy and paste the entire Acknowledgement without making necessary changes required. Therefore, it was decided in the meeting that a uniform format of acknowledgement be adopted which will be followed henceforth. The format is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE – II.

  ü Table of Contents

It was discussed in the meeting what should be included and what should be the format of the Table of contents as any teacher/Asst. Prof. will be able to observe and examine the project work based on the table of Contents. Hence, it is very important that a proper table of contents is prepared by the students which will help them in various ways in future.

It was decided in the meeting that the Table of contents must be prepared in such a way so as to benefit the students in maximum as they will be able to write good articles and enhance their writing skills in coming future. The format is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE – III.

  ü Method of Research

The Method of Research to be followed by all the students is as follows:

  1. Aims and Objectives: The aims and objectives of this project are to understand the concept of Project Topic assigned to each individual, the purpose of having provisions/statutes/case laws which gives inclusive concept of the said Project topic. One of the aims of the project is to have a comparative study on the topic so as to have a clear understanding on the particular Topic.
B.  Statement of Problem: The current systems do not give an equal chance to access and flourish. Though we have various Laws /Statutes/Case laws, yet essential things are missed out and very few literates know the proper meaning and nature of the said project Topic. As such many of us are still in dark as to what the basic terminologies mean and why was it enacted. Also what is the current status of the said Topic with respect its implementation.
C.  Research Questions: Based on the statement of problem aforementioned, the students are required to frame the basic research questions, the answers of which they are going to state by writing their project work.
          D.    Hypothesis: A hypothesis is something which a student is required to assume while studying his project work. Based on such assumption the student is to do his research and such hypothesis must be in conformity with the research questions formulated by the student.

  1. Research Methodology: “Methodology” implies more than simply the methods the researcher used to collect data. It is often necessary to include a consideration of the concepts and theories which underlie the methods. The methodology opted for the study on the topic may be Doctrinal or Empirical.
Doctrinal research in law field indicates arranging, ordering and analysis of the legal structure, legal frame work and case laws by extensive surveying of legal literature but without any field work.

Empirical research in law field indicates field visit and collection of surveys and other materials by various means which include some questionnaires and other interaction based methods which the researcher is free to adopt.

F.     Mode of Citation

A uniform Blue Book Mode of citation is to be adopted throughout the project. The format for foot notes is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE – IV.

ü Table of Cases
It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the Table of Cases will be prepared which will be displayed in an Alphabetical manner along with the whole citation. The format is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE – V.

ü Chapterisation

The project work will start from First Chapter which will be the Introduction of the project Work and end on last Chapter which is to be titled as Conclusion and Suggestions.

ü Conclusion and Suggestions

The last Chapter of the Project Work/Assignment shall be Conclusion and Suggestions where the researcher will state his own conclusion after completing with the Project Work as to did he find out the answers to the research questions and his conclusions derived on studying and analyzing the statement of problem while conducting the research work.
Both Conclusion and Suggestions must be discussed in different headings.

ü Bibliography
It was observed that students are not following the proper way of writing the bibliography which is a very important part of their project work. The Bibliography is the area which specializes an individual with others and gives an overall view of what sources the student referred in furtherance of his project work.
Hence, it was decided that a uniform style of Bibliography be followed. The format of the Bibliography to be adopted henceforth is attached along with this Minutes as ANNEXURE –VI.

ü Page Numbering

The page number to be followed from the Cover Page onwards.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.
